RCSC Bus Routes

1. Students will be transported from their homes/existing bus stop to school and back to their homes/existing bus stop.
2. Buses will NOT travel on any roads other than those that are presently assigned as the designated route by the Transportation Office.
3. Bus stops will NOT be assigned at businesses, childcare locations or at a family member’s residence. Students may be transported to the closest current esisting stop to those locations.
4. Approved out of district students may be transported on RCSC buses at the closest in district stop to the student’s residence. Parent/Guardians need to have the student(s) at the stop on time and be waiting to retrieve their student(s) when the bus arrives to drop off after school.

All bus routes are scheduled through the Transportation Director. RCSC School bus transportation is restricted to students with an authorized bus assignment. 

Students are permitted one morning bus stop and one afternoon bus stop, limited to their home or an existing stop only.  These must remain the same Monday through Friday; daily or weekly changes are not permitted.  Rensselaer Central Schools Corporation does not allow transfers, changes, or alternative routes/stops.

Parents and guardians are responsible for contacting the Transportation Department to update route information, as well as, informing the school and classroom teacher of any updates.
